For over 35 years Brian Loughnane has worked in civil construction and for the better part of 25 years has owned and operated a very successful construction company in central Victoria, Australia. With majority of the work being in large and specialized structures including mining process plants, freeway bridges, large reinforced concrete weirs and tank construction – these projects relied on specialised formwork design, precision concrete construction techniques, attention to detail and careful planning. Many required Brian to implement formwork solutions that could reduce the overall time on a project and give the structures a class 1 concrete finish.
